Significance and Value of Making Dua in Islam
In the perspective of the Islamic worship system, Dua
is an Arabic phrase that simply translates to summon someone. Dua is the phrase
used to describe a circumstance in which an individual seeks something from
Allah Almighty. In this view, Dua is highly essential in the lives of
Muslims since it’s like having a one-to-one conversation with our creator where
we express our desires to Him and beg for His assistance in resolving our
difficulties. Dua
is not just a surrender of our concerns to Allah (SWT) rather it’s an act of
worship. Dua means that you are not asking anybody else to help you but you
have utmost faith in your Lord.
Dua’s always gets accepted at the right time but be
clear in your thoughts and ask with good intentions. In different situations,
Dua gets accepted early like when you are in Allah Almighty’s house performing
Umrah or Hajj. Muslims can get Umrah Packages 2022 in order to perform Umrah and make themselves pure and clean.
This way their Dua’s will be accepted promptly. The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) identified
the Dua as the crux of worship. The significance of Dua is also mentioned in
several sections of the Holy Quran where Allah (SWT) says that He is closer to
people and responds to them whenever they call. We all should make Duas as
Allah Almighty is the only one who can calmly listen to it. Therefore, here are
some of the ways to make your Dua gets accepted by Allah (SWT):
Make Dua for Others
Pray the same Dua for everyone else as you would for
yourself. As believers, we are expected to experience the agony of our fellow
Muslims and to pray for them. There are different situations in life that might
put us in a state where we require duas from others. You can also ask others to do dua for you. Always keep in
mind that only Allah can grant your requests, so requesting people to perform
dua for you is only a way of connecting. Be humble and kind toward others so
that Allah will be generous and kind towards you. Dua’s that come straight from
the heart are more likely to get accepted.
Supplicate During
Accepted Times
Allah has not limited the quantity or type of duas
that can be made. Continuous supplications to Allah demonstrate your reliance
on Him. The ideal venues and occasions to offer duas are listed below:

Repent and Ask
Allah (SWT) is a forgiver and will surely pardon you
when you sincerely repent. Istighfar is such a great blessing and it makes the
chances of your duas higher in order to get accepted. Allah (SWT) loves his
people who realize their mistakes and ask for forgiveness continuously. You can
persuade your Lord by keeping your intents pure and clean.
Do Good and Relinquish a
Sin
Start your dua by praising Allah (SWT) and by sending
peace and blessings to the Prophet (S.A.W). The word choices of dua might make
a substantial difference. Therefore, if you're feeling miserable and
inefficient because you're putting yourself in remorse by saying sorry God, I’m
a bad person, etc. Rather, consider performing dua by saying oh God, you are the
only one who can help and forgive. Change yourself and tell him that you will
give up committing sins and will do good deeds. He will surely shower His
blessing on you.
